Bruce D. Paton, a San Francisco native, is nationally known for his ability to pair food with beer. Having graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 1988, Bruce has worked in numerous hotels and restaurants until he joined the Cathedral Hill Hotel as the executive chef in 2001. Known as the “beer chef,” Bruce regularly hosts beer and food pairing evenings known as “Dinner with the Brewmaster.” These evenings include menu’s specially designed by the “beer chef,” to pair with exclusive microbrews.
